Central Electric District Scholarship
  • New in 2025, Central Electric is offering up to sixteen $500 District Scholarships - two scholarships per county will be awarded from the Basin Electric Scholarship list of applicants that are not selected for that scholarship.
  • The student must complete the Basin Electric Power Cooperative Scholarship application and have their primary residence served by Central Electric to qualify
  • The winners of the $1,000 Basin Electric Scholarship and $1,000 Jay Headley Memorial Scholarship are not eligible for the $500 District Scholarship

  • Applicant must have participated in two sports for at least two years in each sport

Little International Scholarship
  • (2) $1,500 and (2) $1,000
  • Little International at SDSU has established a rich tradition of legacy and learning. Little International is the largest two-day student-run livestock exhibition in the nation. The event allows students to gain skills in showmanship, animal husbandry, and agriculture-based career paths. In addition to showing livestock, students may participate in wool judging, meats judging, dairy product creation, machinery sales, and more.

South Dakota Opportunity Scholarship


The application form must be accompanied by:​
  • ​An official high school transcript; and
  • A copy of the student's ACT or SAT score report if the student's official high school transcript does not show the ACT composite score or the sum of the SAT verbal and mathematics scores.

  • Graduate in five years or less.
